The Decisive Moment...

1. Choose the portrait you like the most, and write the photo number.
I like portrait number 118
2. Briefly describe the photo. What is the CVI? Is it a formal portrait, an informal portrait, or something else? The old man, but his face is pretty distracting...
It looks like a informal picture, because it looks like he's walking the streets and was stopped by him and he took his picture, and he looks like he's in something that he wouldnt wear every day.
3. Form- What are the major composition techniques used in this photo, and how are they used?
He has the rule of thirds because his head is right in the middle right third of the picture, he doesnt have simplicity a far depth of field.
4. Content - What are the eye positions, and how does this affect the photo? Describe the lighting.
you cant really see his eyes, and it makes it look pretty interesting, like what's he looking at, is he really blind or does he have the sun in his eyes.
5. Expression- What is happening in this photo that makes this moment "decisive?"
he's got a great expression on his face, and the guy in the background make it a more misterious picture.
6. Read the caption, and explain one thing that is interesting about the person / scene.
he's part of the imperail cout of the last dynaisty
